Say farewell to 2011 and welcome 2012 with an incredible New Year’s Eve package at Hilton Chicago/Indian Lakes Resort. Whether a glamorous gala is in your plans, or complete night on the town with overnight stay suits you more, the Bloomingdale resort has a solution for your soiree.

The “Big City Gala” begins with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception at 6:30 p.m. and continues to 1:00 a.m. with a four-course dinner served with wine, six-hour premium open bar, live music by The UpBeat Band, Midnight champagne toast, party favors, festive balloon drop, lavish brunch the next morning and late check out of 2:00 p.m. The Gala Package is priced at $439 per couple.

The “Big City Gala” tickets exclude overnight accommodations for two, lavish New Year’s Day brunch for two in the Grand Ballroom and a late check-out of 2 p.m.

“Brunch with Santa” at Shiraz on the Water

A Festive Family Day with a Lavish Brunch Buffet

Shiraz on the Water, located at the Hilton Chicago/Indian Lakes Resort, will welcome families for holiday festivities at their annual “Brunch with Santa” event, which takes place on three consecutive Sundays in December (4, 11 and 18).

From 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., families will enjoy a lavish brunch buffet created by Executive Chef Carol Buckantz, complete with traditional breakfast items, omelet and waffle station, lunch specials, carving station, side dishes, desserts (including a chocolate fountain) and a knee-high kids’ buffet (entire menu is outlined below).

Children will have the opportunity to meet the joyous Old St. Nick in person, while the seasonal sounds of holiday music fill the air. Be sure to bring your camera to capture a photo with Santa Claus!

Thanksgiving Day Buffet at the Hilton Chicago/Indian Lakes Resort

Gather your group of friends and family this Thanksgiving Day for an elaborate buffet. The Grand Ballroom at the Hilton Chicago/Indian Lakes Resort will hold a lavish, seasonal spread that incorporates hearty Fall fare and familiar holiday favorites. A separate children’s height buffet table will offer little ones exactly what they’re looking for – macaroni and cheese, chicken tenders and curly fries.

Highlights of Executive Chef Carol Buckantz’s Thanksgiving Day Buffet include the harvest salad, roasted butternut squash bisque, Jonah crab claws, turkey carving station, pesto-crusted salmon and bananas foster/cherries jubilee dessert station (complete menu outlined below). The holiday buffet will be served on Thursday, November 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fee is $36.95 for adults, $15.95 for children 5-12 and children 4 or under dine for free. Paired wines by the glass or bottle will be available for purchase to compliment the mid-day meal.

Sweetest Day at Shiraz on the Water

Four Course, Prix Fixe Menu for Two

Celebrate Sweetest Day with a special dinner at Shiraz on the Water. On Saturday, October 15, Chef Carol Buckantz will offer a four course menu for two. This date night dinner will start with an appetizer to share (calamari, bruschetta, short rib wonton), followed by soup or salad for each guest. Chef Buckantz’s entrees (one per dining guest) include succulent prime rib, Alaskan salmon, pork tenderloin and chicken saltimbocca. Complete the Sweetest Day meal with a decadent crème brulee or a slice of “Death by Chocolate” cake. This dining experience, over looking the water on the grounds of the Indian Lakes Resort, is complimented nicely with two flutes of champagne. The prix fixe price is $70 per couple and does not include tax or gratuity.
