Bears Brunch: Game Days at The Chicago Firehouse

Extended Brunch Hours, Convenient Valet for the Day Service

Sundays, Bears Home Game Days

The Bears are back in action, so it’s time for pre-game Sunday brunch in the South Loop. This football season, The Chicago Firehouse, located within walking distance of Soldier Field, will welcome football fanatics (both home and away teams) for breakfast and lunch fare starting at 9 a.m. on home game days. To truly “kick-off” the morning in tailgate style, the bar team will stir and serve their famous CFH Bloody Marys (complete with Surf-n-Turf garnish) for $5. Sharable buckets of Miller Lite bottles will be offered for $20. For added convenience, game-goers may valet their car at The Chicago Firehouse for the day while they watch the Bears play ($40).

Weekend brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (only on Sunday home game days will brunch will begin at 9 a.m.) Chef Kendal Duque’s brunch menu includes egg dishes, such as eggs benedict (classic, crab cakes, pork belly or spinach-portabello), omelettes and egg scrambles with choice of ingredients. Sweet selections are French Toast with berries and marscarpone cream and Buttermilk Pancakes. French Onion soup and Chicago Firehouse Lobster Bisque are the perfect starting course to the lunch entrees, such as Duque’s “garden” offerings (three seasonal salads and a Caesar with optional chicken breast, shrimp or sirloin steak) and sandwiches (smoked salmon club, blackened tilapia, toasted ham and gruyere with fried egg, Chicago Firehouse Burger and grilled rib-eye on focaccia). The brunch “butcher” section of the menu includes a NY strip steak and beef short rib hash. The complete brunch menu is listed below.
