The Martini Bar Launches New Summer Libations

Mixologist Lisa Selman Mixes and Muddles Handcrafted Cocktails and Martinis

The Martini Bar, located in the heart of Chicago’s financial district, debuts a new summer cocktail and martini menu created by in-house mixologist Lisa Selman. Selman’s handcrafted cocktails and martinis ($12 each) feature unique spirits and liqueurs, fresh herbs, muddled fruits and house made syrups, perfect for summer sipping. Highlights of the menu include the “Garden Party” martini, which incorporates Right Gin, Creme Y’Vette, fresh blueberries, fresh squeezed lime juice and thyme, the “Hummingbird” cocktail featuring Hum Hibiscus liqueur, Stoli vodka, fresh lime juice, house made honey lemon syrup and muddled watermelon, and “The Spirit of Summer” cocktail made with Esprit de June liqueur, Stoli Vodka, house made tangelo syrup, Soho Lychee Liqueur and topped with Moscato. Lisa Selman truly has a passion for making cocktails. With eight years of experience behind the bar, she demonstrates her talents through creating seasonal martini menus and crafting custom-made cocktails for her guests. An Art History major from Wayne State University, Selman expresses that artistic side through fun menus and interesting ingredients, such as homemade ginger ale, yuzu, muddled fruits, fresh herbs and homemade syrups. Lisa Selman has participated in myriads of mixology competitions and was a finalist in the War of the Pour.
