Rock Bottom Brewery, located at State and Grand in the heart of River North, has introduced a completely new menu available during lunch and dinner hours. All of the appetizers, great burgers, sandwiches, salads and entree offerings have been expanded. A sampling of just some of these new menu items include Sesame Calamari, Crab & Shrimp Tower, Kobe Burger, Turkey Reuben Sandwich, Seafood Chef Salad and Hazelnut-crusted Chicken.
Three new menu sections have also been added. In the first, “Signature Steaks,” Chef Christopher McCoy offers a nice choice of steaks, along with new 19-ounce Bone In Ribeye prepared with a dark-roasted, chocolate-malted crust. The second section, “Brewmaster’s Selections,” features head brewmaster Chris Rafferty’s favorite made-from-scratch dishes, such as Citrus Salmon, Tuscan Chicken Pasta and Lobster & Shrimp Mac ‘N Cheese. The third section features “RB Grille Classics,” with Double Bone In Pork Chop, Tenderloin Tips, Rosemary Chicken and an Off The Hook fresh fish dish.
Meals may be complimented by a choice of delightful desserts, from the famous Pint Glass Sundae, to Warm Donut Holes and Triple Chocolate Brownie.
Weekend brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 10 a.m. McCoy’s menu offers breakfast fare and lunch, plus morning must-haves, bloody marys and mimosas.
The River North bastion of beer has won over 125 major medals for brewing excellence and brewmaster Chris Rafferty continues to plan each and every house-made beer. The brewery’s “Mug Club” meets monthly for the tapping of Rafferty’s latest creation. There are certainly other cocktails to consider, with 40 wines by the glass or bottles and a creative menu of mixed drinks, martinis, mojitos and margaritas. Non-alcoholic beverages include house-made root beer, lemonade with pureed strawberries, mango iced tea and more.
Dining Hours are Monday-Thursday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to Midnight, Saturday 10 a.m. to Midnight and Sunday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Late-night Dining: Sunday-Thursday, 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Friday-Saturday, Midnight to 1 a.m.
