Franklin Tap has three upcoming events that tantalize the taste buds through informative samplings and specials as well conquer the competitive side.

On Monday, April 18 (which also happens to be the day you sign, seal and send off your taxes to Uncle Sam), Franklin Tap will hold a Wii bowling tournament. With no entry fee, half-price cocktails, $24 Batch 19 Growlers and prizes for perfect games, this active gaming session is sure to set minds at ease. The team that wins the tourney will receive a Franklin Tap Wii bowling party for up to 20 people. Bowlers are encouraged to sign up with Toshi at 312-212-3262.

Then, on Wednesday April 20, Franklin Tap will hold a Batch 19 tasting event. From 5-6pm, curious sippers may learn more about the pre-prohibition recipe of this unique beer. Samples of the bold, hoppy and balanced lager with Hersbrucker and Strisslespalt hops will be free.

Lastly, on Wednesday, April 27, Zacapa (super premium) Rum will be in the spotlight at Franklin Tap. This free tasting event will take place from 5-6pm. Brand ambassadors will discuss the first pressing of sugar cane that is used, as opposed to molasses, in Zacapa Rum. Participants will be encouraged to sip and savor a neat glass or enjoy the rum on the rocks.
