The Red Canary will kick off the Thanksgiving holiday weekend with two special restaurant and lounge events. From 5pm to 10pm, Chef Neal Harper will present a three-course “Pre-Thanksgiving Prix Fixe” menu for $20. This menu includes seasonal, real American comfort fare (menu below) with selections from soups to salads, entrees and desserts. The regular dinner menu will also be available.
After dinner service, The Red Canary will offer a “Pilgrim Party Package” suitable for lounge patrons celebrating “Black Wednesday” (which is notorious for being a popular night for pre-Thanksgiving parties). A two hour open bar ($20) will take place from 10pm-Midnight. Bar and lounge guests will be able to choose from domestic beer offerings, house wines by the glass or cocktails (‘call’ brands include Tanqueray, Stoli, Effen, Captain Morgan and more). The Red Canary will also offer cash bar service from 5pm-2am.

The Red Canary features “Real. American. Comfort” fare in Chicago’s River West neighborhood. The sexy lounge atmosphere exudes a 1920s Art Deco vibe, with a grand chandelier, metallic gold details, bold damask fabrics and vibrant red walls. Executive Chef Neal Harper dishes out familiar favorites including Grilled Cheese and Chunky Tomato Soup, Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes, Baby Back Ribs and Chicken Pot Pie. The bar program offers an extensive list of classic cocktails, wine and craft beer. The Red Canary offers dinner service nightly, as well as brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
