“True Blood” Halloween-Themed Parties at Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club

Vampires, Werewolves and Witches Welcomed

Saturday, October 30
Sunday, October 31

No fee to attend

Kit Kat’s “fangs” will be out (think vampires, not kitty cats) this Halloween weekend. A two-night “True Blood” cocktail party celebrates the co-existence of vampires and humans in the town of Bon Temps (or in this case, Chicago). The staff has chosen to dress in a bevy of vampire-related attire: expect to see popular characters like the gothic show’s telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse and vampire Bill Compton.

Party guests are encouraged to go all out for the costume contests held at Midnight on both evenings, October 30 and 31. (“True Blood” costuming is not required for the contests; don your best Bieber, Lady Gaga, Snooki or other outrageous attire.) Each night, the grand prize will be $500 cash; second prize $250 cash; third prize $100 cash. Throughout both night’s festivities “True Blood” merchandise will be given away.

Truly “vamping” it up will be the Kit Kat Divas performing as bloodsucking babes: Saturday’s performer will be Aurora Sexton and Sunday’s entertainment will be Kayla Crawford.

The “True Bloody Martini” will be featured all weekend long. Enjoy cucumber-infused Effen vodka, clamato juice and Kit Kat’s special spices, garnished with vampire teeth for $5.

Additional Halloween martinis ($12.50 Saturday, $6.25 Sunday) will also be offered:

PUMPKIN PIE pumpkin puree, vanilla vodka, Kit Kat special spices

WITCHES BREW Cruzan punch, Cruzan pineapple, Cruzan black cherry, with freshly squeezed tropical juices garnished with gummy body parts

CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON Hpnotiq, pineapple juice, a splash of vodka and dry ice to make it “foggy”

“Rocky Horror Picture Show Brunch”
On Sunday, October 31, Chef Mark Kasper and Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club will hold a “Rocky Horror Picture Show Brunch” from 11:00am-3:00pm. Diva Madame X will perform songs from the classic film, while it is shown on seven large screens. Brunch is available ala carte with an option to add bottomless mimosas or bloody martinis for only $10, or as a two course prix fixe with bottomless mimosas or bloody marys for $25.

A special martini list ($5) and entree will be available during the Rocky Horror Picture Show Brunch:

ROCKY MARTINI Effen vodka, splash of pineapple, envelope of pop rocks poured in table-side

SWEET TRANSEXUAL Effen vodka, fresh strawberry and kiwi juice, splash of champagne

RIFF-RAFF Hpnotiq, Effen vodka, splash pineapple, garnished with glow stick and rock candy
