Create the “Capone” or “Quattro Formaggi” While Sipping Vino

Thursday October 21, 2010
6:30pm

$25 per person (includes instruction, pizza and two glasses of wine)
Frasca Pizzeria and Wine Bar, the inviting Lakeview restaurant that is inspired by the charming gathering places for food and wine found throughout Italy, will host an informal, hands-on pizza cooking class led by Frasca owner Doug Dunlay at 6:30pm on Thursday, October 21.

Each “pizza pupil” will get to select the type of pizza they would like to make: the Capone or the Quattro Formaggi (ingredients below). Dunlay will share his secrets to Frasca’s famous crispy thin crusts and perfectly prepared toppings. Students will then, of course, get to sample their work, accompanied by two glasses of wine per person.

Capone
tomato sauce, wood roasted onions, fennel sausage and fresh mozzerella

Quattro Formaggi
fresh mozzerella, gorgonzola, ricotta and provolone

Frasca Pizzeria and Wine Bar’s pizza cooking class is priced at $25 per person. Please call the restaurant at 773.248.5222 to reserve your spot in this edible and educational event.
