Rock Bottom Brewery Celebrates 15 Years in Chicago

Anniversary Ale, Live Local Bands and Birthday Cake for All

Thursday, October 21, 2010
7:00 – 11:00pm

No fee to attend

In 1995, the restaurant and brewery (including the city’s original rooftop bar) opened at State Street and Grand Avenue in the heart of River North. Now in their fifteenth year in business, Rock Bottom Brewery Chicago has remodeled, added a sophisticated dining room in RB Grille and most importantly, continues to pour award-winning, handcrafted brews.

A special “Anniversary Ale” will be tapped on Tuesday, October 21 and the evening will offer free-flowing draughts for only $1.50. This “Anniversary Ale” is a Belgian Abbey Dubbel, with rich toffee and cocoa malt accents, blended with spicy notes of clove and orange. Brewmaster Chris Rafferty says, “this is a very drinkable brown ale.”

In the rear of the pub, where a brand new stage has been built, live local bands will entertain celebrants: Kevin Prez will play from 7:00-9:00pm followed by Matt Nanke from 9:00-11:00pm.

A bevy of raffle prizes will be given away every 15 minutes from 7:00-9:00pm, as will complimentary slices of birthday cake.

*Late Night Pub Menu available 11:00pm-1:00am
*Anniversary Ale Pints available for $1.50 until 2:00am
