Fall Beer Tasting at Fizz Features U.K. and Wisconsin Breweries

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

Free to attend

Explore autumn ales and other unique beers during Fizz Bar and Grill’s ongoing beer tasting series. On Wednesday, October 6, beer devotees will learn about seasonal suds while noshing on assorted beer bites, such as warm pretzels with mustard and beer cheese, Bottle Caps – spicy batter fried jalapeno pepper slices with ranch dressing and Beer Nibbles – roasted almonds, marinated olives and battered white cheddar cheese curds.

From names like Scarecrow and Hobgoblin, to cranberry and oatmeal-flavored brews, the featured beers for this tasting will be perfect for a (free!) mid-week, Fall sipping and sampling event.

Featured Beers

Wychwood Hobgoblin
Wychwood Scarecrow
Sand Creek, Oscar’s Chocolate Oatmeal Stout
Sand Creek, Pioneer Black River Red
Sand Creek, Cranberry Special Ale

Wychwood Brewery: named after the ancient medieval forest of The Wych Wood, the Brewery produces an award winning range of traditional craft-brewed beers full of character; one of the UK’s leading producers of organic beers.
