Rock Bottom Brewery’s “Rocktoberfest”
An Afternoon’s Worth of Handcrafted Brews, Hearty German Fare and Live Polka Music
Saturday, October 9, 2010
$35 per person
Oktoberfest traditionally celebrates all things German – from great brews to hearty meals and dance-along lively entertainment. This year, Chicago’s Rock Bottom Brewery will hold their very own, all-inclusive fest located in the heart of River North.
From Noon to 5:00pm on Saturday, October 9, participating guests will receive a complimentary 16-ounce sampling stein to sip a variety of hand-crafted beers. Brewmaster Chris Rafferty, along with fellow Brewmasters from three of Rock Bottom’s nearby locations (Yorktown, Warrenville and Orland Park) will each provide several German-style beers for this event.
Throughout the afternoon, a hearty German buffet ( knockwurst, rueben bites, pretzel bites, spaetzle, German potato salad, German chocolate cake) will be offered along with festive, live Polka music from 1:00pm-4:30pm.
Tickets are $35 (plus $1.99 handling) and may be purchased at brownpapertickets.com.
