French Wine Tasting at D.O.C. Wine Bar

D.O.C. Wine Bar, the sophisticated neighborhood bistro and lounge located in west suburban Lombard, will host a French wine tasting from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28. As part of its monthly series, this event will explore wine-growing regions in France, such as Burgandy, Alsace, Rhone, Lanquedoc, Bordeaux and Champagne.

Guests will get the opportunity to try varietals from all over France, including Zind Humbrecht Pinot d’Alsace, Chateau St. Georges Bordeaux, Roux Pere et Fils Nuits Saints Georges, Michelot Borgogne Blanc, Delamotte Champagne, Guigal Gigondas, Bunan Bandol, Gustav Lorentz Riesling and more. D.O.C. wine director Tony Burger will lead the tasting, showcasing these diverse grapes for discerning drinkers. The event will also offer an assortment of appetizers from D.O.C.’s contemporary American menu.
