Events begin Thursday, June 17
$20 per person (includes demonstration, samples, appetizers and take-home cocktail shaker and recipes)
You know of Timothy O’Toole’s, the convivial Streeterville pub, as place to meet up with friends, entertain yourselves with sporting events and interactive games and, of course, enjoy a few drinks. Now you can learn all about those adult beverages in O’Toole’s “101” class series, which will take place the third Thursday of every month.
Kicking off the spirited syllabus will be a Summer Cocktails class at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 17. The evening’s lesson will feature six mouthwatering libations (pear martini, peach margarita, mango mojito, strawberry-kiwi cooler, white pomegranate lemonade and Timothy O’Toole’s special-recipe red sangria) for guests to watch being prepared and to sample. Students will then get to try their hand at shaking and making their own concoction.
Timothy O’Toole’s Summer Cocktails class, which is priced at $20 per person, will include demonstrations and samples of each drink, served along with appetizers, as well as recipe cards and a cocktail shaker to take home. Please call 312.642.0700 to reserve your spot. The “101” series will continue at O’Toole’s on Thursday, July 15 with a session on summer beers.
Timothy O’Toole’s is open Monday through Friday 11-3 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10-3 a.m.
