Tuesday, June 22
$20 per person (includes tasting of eight to 10 wines and light appetizers)
Frasca Pizzeria & Wine Bar, the welcoming Italian restaurant in the Lakeview neighborhood, will present an opportunity to explore the sometimes esoteric world of Italian white wines on Tuesday, June 22 from 7-9 p.m.
Frasca owner Doug Dunlay will lead guests through this “Italian Whites: Way Past Pinot Grigio” wine tasting, which will showcase several wineries from all over this great wine-producing country. Proving that there’s more that just Pinot Grigio to sip this summer, Frasca’s tasting will highlight delicious varietals such as Moscato d’Asti, Arneis and Fiano.
Guests will have the opportunity to taste eight to 10 different wines, all paired with an array of light appetizers from Frasca’s contemporary Italian-accented menu. The wines featured will include La Spinetta Moscato d’ Asti, Saladini Pilastri Pecorino, Almondo “Bricco delle Ciliegie” Arneis, Inama Soave Classico, Taburno Greco di Tufo and Feudi di San Gregorio Fiano di Avellino.
Frasca Pizzeria & Wine Bar’s “Italian Whites: Way Past Pinot Grigio” wine tasting is priced at $20 per person. Please call the restaurant at 773.248.5222 to make a reservation.
