Renowned Midwestern craft brewers are highlighted, with offerings from Chicago favorites Goose Island, Half Acre and Metropolitan sharing the spotlight with Three Floyd’s, New Holland and Bell’s. A hearty selection of other American craft brews, imports and Belgian and Belgian-style beers is also on offer. The complete beer list is outlined below.

Fizz Bar & Grill’s Beer List

Draughts

Goose Island 312 – This wheat beer has a spicy aroma of Cascade hops followed by a crisp, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth body. $5

Surly Cynic – Saison-style pale ale. Cynic melds Old World ingredients in a new-school style.  French malted barley, English oats and Belgian yeast create honey and black pepper flavors. $6

Goose Island Matilda – This Belgium-style pale ale has a slightly fruity aroma and a spicy yeast flavor that is as unique as it is satisfying. $7

Guinness – One of the world’s best known beers. Roasting the malted barley similar to coffee beans gives this dry stout a distinctive dark color. $5.50

Rogue Dead Guy – In the style of a German Maibock, brewed using proprietary ale yeast. Deep honey in color with a malty aroma and a rich hearty flavor. $6

Hoegaarden Wit – Brewing with unmalted wheat and oats produces the light color of this Belgium wit or white beer. Spiced with coriander. $5.50

Sam Adams Boston Lager – A great beer, offering a full, rich flavor. Brewed with only the finest of ingredients for a smooth body and a wide spectrum of malt flavor.  $5

Harpoon IPA – To produce a beer that could withstand the long trip to India from England via slow sailing vessels, English brewers took advantage of two natural preservatives, alcohol and hops, creating India Pale Ale. Harpoon IPA is an interpretation of the classic English style using hops and malt grown in the United States. $5

Stella Artois – First brewed as a Christmas beer, the success of this Belgium lager has turned it into year ‘round worldwide favorite. A great entry point for the light beer drinker. $5.50

Magic Hat No. 9 – A sort of dry, crisp, refreshing, not-quite pale ale, similar in style and taste to Bass, but with a slight fruit finish. $5

Goose Island Green Line – American pale ale with a pronounced, bright American hop aroma and citrus flavors. Available only in Chicago as part of Goose’s commitment to sustainability. $5
