Frasca Pizzeria and Wine Bar Highlights Italian Wines From American Producers

Frasca Pizzeria & Wine Bar, the welcoming Italian restaurant in the Lakeview neighborhood, will present an innovative tasting featuring traditional Italian varietals that are made by American wineries on Tuesday, April 20 from 7-9 p.m. 

Frasca owner Doug Dunlay will lead guests through the tasting, which will showcase several well-known Italian wines, such as Sangiovese, Pinot Grigio and Barbera, which have been mastered by prominent American wineries. On the roster are Alexander Valley Vineyards Sangiovese Rose (Healdsburg, California); Panther Creek Pinot Gris (McMinnville, Oregon); Il Cuore Barbera (Woodside, California); Seghesio Dolcetto (Healdsburg, California); Bonny Doon Vineyards Sangiovese (Santa Cruz, California); and Bacio Divino Pazzo Sangiovese Blend (Napa, California).

Guests will have the opportunity to taste eight to 10 different wines, all paired with an array of light appetizers from Frasca’s contemporary Italian-accented menu.
