Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club Undergoes a Transformation

Lakeview Lounge Welcomes New Decade With Fresh Look

Grand unveiling party Tuesday, January 19

6-8 p.m.

No cost to attend

After more than nine years as a wildly popular Lakeview destination for entertainment, inventive cuisine and creative martinis, the beloved Kit Kat Lounge & Supper Club has gotten a fashionable facelift. Because as any diva knows, it pays to keep up appearances.

Envisioned by David Kaufman and Tom Segal of the high-profile River North firm Kaufman Segal Design, the reincarnated Kit Kat Lounge & Supper Club will flaunt a glamorous South Beach-meets-Hollywood vibe while retaining elements that the club’s loyal clientele know and love. The sleek, contemporary surroundings will feature a dramatic black-and-white color scheme, including a wow-worthy damask fabric covering the ceiling.

Additional design highlights include a mosaic flooring detail made of highly polished black tiles, a new black bar top embedded with mirrored chips that play of off Kit Kat’s numerous disco balls hanging overhead, color-changing cove lighting used throughout the space and completely redone bathrooms boasting a fun animal-print wallpaper.

Celebrate Kit Kat’s transformation from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19 during the club’s “Revealed” soiree. The grand unveiling will showcase an elegant “white” theme. Guests are encouraged to wear white apparel (yes, socks count) to partake in an Effen White-hosted bar, accompanied by complimentary passed appetizers featuring dishes from chef Mark Kasper’s new winter menu.
