A Night of Passion: New Year’s Eve at Nacional 27

Latin Flavors and Sultry Beats Mark the Last Night of ‘09

Dinner seatings at 5 p.m. ($45) and 8 p.m. ($95)

DJ and dancing until 2 a.m.

Usher in 2010 at River North hot spot Nacional 27, where the Latin restaurant will welcome guests for dinner and a night of dancing. Nacional 27 will begin the evening with two dinner seatings (5 p.m. and 8 p.m.) featuring modern Latin cuisine. Entree course selections will include such dishes as grilled seafood paella, gaucho marinated barbecue skirt steak, Pacific blue nose grouper “huachinango” style, farm-raised chicken mole verde and more. At the end of the final seating, the tables will clear and the bamboo dance floor will welcome dancing, while the state-of-the-art sound system pulses with beats by DJ George until 2 a.m.

There will be a $20 cover charge beginning at 9:30 p.m. (this does not apply to dining guests). A complimentary midnight champagne toast and party favors will add to the festivities. Nacional 27’s elaborate bottle service with reserved seating is also available upon request.

First Course: N27 Tapas Platter (a selection of tapas including shrimp skewers, croquetas and empanadas)

Main Course: Select an entree from some of Nacional 27’s favorite dishes

Dessert: Your choice of coffee crema, Mexican chocolate cake, tres leches or sorbet/ice cream

Second Seating (8-10:30 p.m., $95)

Appetizer: Guacamole and chips, verdito shooters

First Course: N27 Tapas Platter (a selection of tapas including shrimp skewers, croquetas and empanadas)

Second Course: Ensalada verde

Main Course: Select an entree from some of Nacional 27’s favorite dishes

Dessert: Dessert platter (Mexican chocolate cake, tres leches, churros, sorbets and ice creams)

Complimentary champagne toast
