Two Restaurants, One Roof: New American Grille Opens Adjacent to Rock Bottom Brewery

 

 

RB Grille elevates a comfortable brewpub atmosphere into a refined dining experience. This flagship restaurant, located in River North, is housed in the Rock Bottom Brewery building with a separate entrance on State Street.

 

Executive Chef Christopher McCoy, a Rock Bottom Brewery veteran,  presents a contemporary American menu at RB Grille. Signature dishes include Maryland lump crab cakes, bacon-wrapped scallops seasoned with spicy aioli and Thai chili sauce and 22-ounce porterhouse steak with choice of crust or sauce. Seafood and steak dishes include house salad and choice of side dish, while the “plates” section of the menu offers a paired side dish. All dining guests will begin their meal with complimentary, from-the-oven housemade cornbread. Attentive table-side presentations include hand-tossed salads and hand-shaken signature martinis. Over 150 wine selections are offered by the glass or bottle and Rock Bottom’s award-winning beers may also be paired with both the lunch and dinner menus.

RB Grille boasts an upscale atmosphere with walnut furnishings and accents, warm amber lighting, exposed brick walls adorned with colorful artwork, black leather-cushioned booths and wood blinds that allow diners to peer out to the bustling street scene. Entering through the new revolving door on State Street, guests will notice a wine station where over 30 by-the-glass selections are poured into individual carafes or flights. A special communal table known as “Table One” offers semi-private dining for up to eight people. This area is perfect for groups, special occasions or corporate dining and offers business-friendly amenities such as flatscreen television with PowerPoint capabilities, sound system and dedicated phone line. With 27 logo-stamped, butcher paper covered tables, RB Grille can accommodate 118 guests for lunch or dinner.

RB Grille is open for Lunch Monday-Friday from 11:00am-4:00pm. Dinner service is Sunday-Thursday, 4:00pm-11:00pm; Friday and Saturday, 4:00pm-12:00am. *This week’s hours are Monday-Thursday 4:00-11:00pm, Friday and Saturday 4:00-Midnight, Sunday 4:00-11:00pm. Lunch service will begin Monday, November 23 at 11:00am. RB Grille will be closed on Thanksgiving day.
