Give and Get This Thanksgiving at Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club

Half-Price Dinner and Drinks Tab with Canned Good Donation

This Thanksgiving, Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club will extend a fifty-percent discount to dining and lounge guests that donate one or more canned goods. The proprietors of Kit Kat have recently provided 588 turkeys to area families in need and are looking to provide more donations as the holidays approach us.

Executive Chef Mark Kasper has crafted a Thanksgiving dinner special ($10 with donation) to coincide with traditional holiday American dinner fare: Roasted Turkey Breast with whipped Yukon Gold potatoes, green been casserole, cornbread stuffing and sage gravy. The turkey plate will be offered from 5:30pm-Midnight.

Thanksgiving Eve at The Red Canary

Pre-Thanksgiving Prix Fixe and Pilgrim Party Package Perfect for “Black Wednesday”

The Red Canary will kick off the Thanksgiving holiday weekend with two special restaurant and lounge events. From 5pm to 10pm, Chef Neal Harper will present a three-course “Pre-Thanksgiving Prix Fixe” menu for $20. This menu includes seasonal, real American comfort fare (menu below) with selections from soups to salads, entrees and desserts. The regular dinner menu will also be available.

After dinner service, The Red Canary will offer a “Pilgrim Party Package” suitable for lounge patrons celebrating “Black Wednesday” (which is notorious for being a popular night for pre-Thanksgiving parties). A two hour open bar ($20) will take place from 10pm-Midnight. Bar and lounge guests will be able to choose from domestic beer offerings, house wines by the glass or cocktails (‘call’ brands include Tanqueray, Stoli, Effen, Captain Morgan and more). The Red Canary will also offer cash bar service from 5pm-2am.

Executive Chef Neal Harper dishes out familiar favorites including Grilled Cheese and Chunky Tomato Soup, Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes, Baby Back Ribs and Chicken Pot Pie. Gather your group of friends and family this Thanksgiving Day for an elaborate buffet. The Grand Ballroom at the Hilton Chicago/Indian Lakes Resort will hold a lavish, seasonal spread that incorporates hearty Fall fare and familiar holiday favorites. A separate children’s height buffet table will offer little ones exactly what they’re looking for – macaroni and cheese, chicken tenders and curly fries.

Highlights of Executive Chef Carol Buckantz’s Thanksgiving Day Buffet include the Harvest Salad, Jonah Crab Claws, Butternut Squash Ravioli and Bananas Foster Station (complete menu outlined below). The holiday buffet will be served on Thursday, November 25 from 11:00am-4:00pm. The fee is $33.95 for adults, $15.95 for children 6-12 and children 5 or under dine for free.
