Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club will hold their annual, over-the-top Academy Awards viewing party on Sunday, February 26. Upon arrival, party guests will walk Hpnotiq Harmonie’s ”purple carpet” and will be escorted into the lounge by purple and gold painted, Oscar statue models.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., seven large screens will air the E! network’s red carpet arrivals, while a feel-like-a-star celebrity photo shoot takes place at Kit Kat’s “step and repeat” wall featuring Madonna, Cher, Meryl Streep and more. Guests will be encouraged to take complimentary photos as a fun Oscar party souvenir. The 84th Academy Awards will be shown live, with sound, at 7:00 p.m.

While admiring the gorgeous gowns and “oh no she didn’t” dresses, enjoy complimentary cocktail samplings from Hpnotiq Harmonie, along with half-price martinis and champagne cocktails. Diva Sunny DeeLite will fly in from New York City for the event, and she will perform as various Hollywood hotties in red carpet-worthy attire. At the end of the evening, Kit Kat will hand out complimentary Hpnotiq swag bags (feathered boa, t-shirt, glow sticks, mints, glow pens, glow rings and more).

Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club will create their own “carnival” this Fat Tuesday. On February 21, indulge in Chef Mark Kasper’s special Kit Kat Gumbo (tiger shrimp and Amish chicken with okra, rice and buttermilk biscuit, $17) as well as a bevy of half-price, Cruzan rum cocktails ($5 each, listed below).

Diva Tracy Ross will perform a variety of songs starting at 7:30 p.m. and will distribute beaded necklaces, hats and other giveaways courtesy of Cruzan Rum.

GRAMMY Awards Viewing Party at Kit Kat

Live Show on Seven Screens, Katy Perry Impersonator

Who will rock -and roll- the 54th annual GRAMMY Awards? Find out during Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club’s annual viewing party, taking place on Sunday, February 12. At 7 p.m., seven large screens will feature the show live, while guests enjoy exciting award show performances from Coldplay and Rihanna, Paul McCartney, Jason Aldean, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift. Kit Kat will offer their own on-site performances as well, with Diva Kinley Preston as Katy Perry. The viewing party will also feature a variety of giveaways, such as CDs, DVDs and other merchandise from Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, courtesy of Lakeview’s Borderline Music.

GRAMMY day will start with Kit Kat’s weekly “Divalicious” Brunch service, which takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Martinis will be featured at half-price ($6, regularly $12, over 100 to choose from) the entire day, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

19 days ’til kickoff! On Sunday, February 5, Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club invites you to celebrate the spirit of the Super Bowl. The entire day, from brunch to dinner and drinks, will feature a “Madonna-rama” party in light of her highly anticipated, half-time performance.

Diva Madam X will star as Madge in Kit Kat’s very own “half-time performance” during brunch service (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.), where free-flowing mimosas, sangria and bloody marys will be featured for only $10 with the purchase of a brunch entree. The martini menu will be offered at half-price ($6, regularly $12).

Once Super Bowl 46 begins, Diva Kinley Preston will “vogue” her way around the venue and continue the “Madonna-rama” celebration well into the night. Footballs fans will watch the gridiron action on seven state-of-the-art screens, while sipping half-price martinis ($6 each, regularly $12).

The specialty cocktail for Super Bowl Sunday is The M.D.N.A Martini (Effen Cucumber, Hpnotiq, Harmonie, St. Germain with a splash of sprite). Madonna DVDs, CDs and posters from Border Line Music will be given away during both brunch and nighttime events.

From February 10-14, Chef Mark Kasper will offer a Valentine’s Day Prix Fixe menu ($45 per person, plus tax and gratuity). The dinner features four exceptional courses and the ”Love Potions of the Gods” martini of your choice (listed below). The dinner menu is outlined below; Kit Kat’s regular dinner menu will also be available upon request. Showstopper Traci Ross will perform betrothed ballads, heartbreak hits and romance-inducing tunes by Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Rihanna, Beyonce and more.

Single in the city this Valentine’s Day? Kit Kat will hold a “Stupid Cupid” singles party on Monday, February 13. Guests will enjoy a savvy 50-percent discount on their entire bill while mingling with potential mates. If you meet your match, be sure to share the “Cupid” martini, 32-ounces of Cruzan flavored rums and blend of fruit juices with a champagne float (comes complete with magic wand, $15).

Throughout January and February, a new martini menu will be available. The “Love Potions of the Gods” theme martinis, from Aphrodite and Artemis to Eros and Isis, may set the mood for seductive sipping. The martinis are outlined below.

New Year’s Day Brunches Around Town

Contemporary Classics, Comfort Fare and Ethnic Eats in Chicago

What better way to start new year’s day than with a beautiful brunch. The list below outlines a bevy of downtown options, from classic breakfast and lunch fare to ethnic eats and treats. The details for each service are included by restaurant.

BLT American Brasserie will offer their new Sunday brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Featuring Chef Laurent Tourondel’s exquisite, wide-ranging menu, guests may enjoy salads and starters, egg dishes and breakfast entrees, lunch items from the grill, sushi rolls, pizzettas and more. Each patron will receive a warm, from-the-oven popover to start the meal. Incredible bloody Marys (barbeque, balsamic and the BLT) and brunch cocktails will also be available.

Say ole! to new year’s day at Cantina Laredo. Cantina Laredo will offer their complete brunch menu featuring favorite Mexican dishes, housemade margaritasand bloody Marias from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (entrees include a mimosa, Bloody Maria or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice). Some of the dishes will include crab cake benedict, chicken fajita omelet, migas con huevos, steak and eggs with chimichurri and huevos rancheros.

The New Year’s Day Hangover Buffet at Park Grill will cure all that ails you from the night before.  Special hangover-happy foods (ham and cheese French toast, banana and nutella pancakes, mushroom and spinach benedict, flat iron steak with chimichurri, biscuits and spicy gravy), brunch cocktails and a Bloody Mary Bar will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $30 (adults) and $12 kids (ages 12 and under).

The Chicago Firehouse will feature Chef Kendal Duque’s new, winter a la carte brunch menu from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Duque’s dishes include a variety of eggs benedict, omelettes, scrambles and sweets, in addition to entree salads, soup, sandwiches and butcher offerings. Brunch cocktails may be perfect for the post-party day, from the BLT Bloody Mary and Hard Arnold Palmer to the 5-Alarm Coffee Cocktail and Spiked Sweet Tea.

Elate’s market-driven brunch from Chef Michael Noll will be available starting at 10:30 a.m. and will run until 2:30 p.m. Guests may enjoy bottomless mimosas (blueberry, mango, traditional) for $20 with the purchase of an entree. Noll’s menu ranges from sweets and savories to salads and sandwiches.

Start the new year with a show! The brunch at Kit Kat Lounge & Supper Club will be offered from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free-flowing bloody Marys, sangria and mimosas will be $10 with any brunch entrée purchase from Chef Mark Kasper’s menu of contemporary classics and comfort fare. Lively performances from Kit Kat’s one-and-only Madam X will take place throughout the day. Kit Kat is featuring half-price martinis from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

The Hangover Brunch at The Red Canary will highlight a fan-favorite: “The Hangover” entree. The dish consists of skillet potatoes with melted cheddar, braised short ribs and a sunny-side egg on top for $14. Guests that partake in the bottomless mimosas ($18) or bottomless bloody Marys ($20) will receive a complimentary entrée from the weekend brunch menu. Brunch service is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The perfect place for a post-party hangover brunch is in Timothy O’Toole’s Pub’s subterranean setting. In addition to the brunch menu (scrambles, benedicts, burritos, burgers, sandwiches, waffles and more), the Pub will also offer a bottomless mimosa bar ($16) and bottomless bloody mary bar ($20) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For the football fans, sip $16 Miller/Coors family buckets, $5 Jack Daniels and Jack Honey cocktails while tuning in to over 75 screens (open until 3 a.m.).

ZED451 will start off the new year with an unforgettable brunch experience. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., dining guests may partake in a mid-day meal that includes a bounty of breakfast and lunch selections. Brunch is $29 per person, mimosas will be offered for $3 and house-made bloody marys, complete with gourmet garnish, will be $5 each. (Returning guests that purchased the New Year’s Eve dinner or party package will receive bottomless bloody marys at brunch.) In the Fireside Lounge, New Year’s Day is all about football. ZED451′s 80-foot screen will show every play of the games, and from 10 a.m. to midnight, $5 ZED burgers and $3 pints of craft beer will be offered in addition to the full “Cravings” menu.

On New Year’s Eve, Saturday, December 31, Kit Kat Divas Traci Ross and Madam X will delight lounge and supper club celebrants as they impersonate female pop icons including Madonna, Tina Turner, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and more during this year’s “Glitter and Glam Gala”.

Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club’s Executive Chef, Mark Kasper, will present a four-course dinner menu during two seatings (7 p.m. and 10 p.m.). Party guests will enjoy a complimentary Hpnotiq champagne cocktail to toast the end of 2011 and the start of 2012. The 7 p.m. seating is $75 per guest and the 10 p.m. seating is $95 per guest. Tax and gratuity is not included in the dinner.

Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club welcomes winter with a new set of seasonal martinis, holiday prix fixe dinner and Jingle Bell brunch.

Kit Kat’s team of inspired mixologists have created holiday martinis even the Grinch would like! Available throughout the month of December, martinis such as the Harmoni Merry-tini, Hpnotiq Snowflake, Pumpkin Pie, Banana Nut Bread, Santa Baby and Fruity Xmas will be $13.50 each (Fridays and Saturdays) and half price ($6.25) Sunday through Thursday. The full drink menu is listed below.

Beginning Tuesday, December 20, Kit Kat will kick-off a week-long Christmas celebration with a three-course menu for $30 per person (plus tax and gratuity). The prix fixe is available daily, through Christmas Day, starting at 5:30 p.m. Dinner features a holiday martini of your choice, beef bourguignon with grilled baguette and roasted poussin with cauliflower puree, brussels sprouts and truffle gaufrett. Kit Kat’s “Super Sexy Santa” will be on hand for fun photographs (as well as offering shots) on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

On Sunday, December 25, sit back, relax and enjoy Chef Mark Kasper’s Jingle Bell Brunch. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests may order from the a la carte menu while entertainment is provided by Kit Kat’s Madam X. The holiday meal may be paired with endless mimosas, sangria and bloody martinis for an additional $10 per person.

Dine and donate on Christmas Day: bring a canned good donation and enjoy the three-course Christmas prix-fixe at half price ($15). All the canned goods and nonperishable food items that are collected will be donated to local charity Vital Bridges, in support of their “Harvest for Hope” community food drive. Whole Foods is conveniently located across the street.

A Divalicious Dining Event to Celebrate Brit’s Big 3-0

Brunch service at Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club will be all-Britney on Sunday, December 4, in celebration of the pop princess’ thirtieth birthday (born December 2, 1981). Brunch guests will bop along to Britney’s music and enjoy entertainment by Diva Madam X performing as Ms. Spears from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Britney’s music videos will play on all seven jumbo screens and Brit-related prizes (Femme Fatale Tour DVDs, CDs and more) will be given away throughout the day, courtesy of Lakeview’s Borderline Music.

Executive Chef Mark Kasper’s new winter brunch menu will be offered, which features such dishes as Rice Krispie French Toast, Pumpkin Spiced Pancakes and Chilaquiles, in addition to hearty classics like Chicken and Waffles and Biscuits and Gravy (complete brunch menu is outlined below). During the Britney bash, Kit Kat will offer themed specials including the “It’s Britney, Bitch” martini and “If U Seek Hammy” menu item (listed below).

Brunch guests will enjoy free-flowing mimosas, sangria and bloody marys for only $10 with the purchase of a brunch entree. All of Kit Kat’s martinis (over 100 on the menu) will be half-priced, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. ($6 each, regularly $12).

eggs florentine – poached eggs, smoked ham, spicy bernaise with sauteed spinach over an english muffin

caramelized onion, bacon and wilted baby spinach with a puff pastry crust served with a mixed green salad
