Kit Kat has made plenty of party plans for Pride weekend. The line-up of events (fashion show with model contest, outdoor Divas, special “street” menu and Pride martini collection) is outlined below by day. The celebration on Halsted Street will take place Friday, June 24 through Sunday, June 26.
Pride Weekend
Pride Kick-Off Party
Friday, June 24 from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Divas Sunny DeeLite and Aurora Sexton will perform outdoors on Kit Kat’s sleek, living room lounge patio. The Divas will channel familiar faces, such as pop stars and music legends every 20 minutes starting at 7 p.m. Kit Kat’s outdoor vendors will be selling street festival food favorites (Allen Bros. Chicago-style Steak Dogs $6, Chicken Gyros with tzatziki sauce $6, Parmesan Truffle Fries $4) from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Pride Martini Collection (a rainbow of colorful cocktails) will be $10 each.
Pride Fest
Saturday, June 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
The 15 finalists from Grab Magazine’s “So You Think You’re a Cover Model” contest will walk the runway at 5 p.m. (casting will take place June 16 and 23 at Kit Kat). The winner, chosen by audience applause, will receive $500 in cash and the cover photo on an August issue of Grab Magazine. Divas Sunny DeeLite and Aurora Sexton will perform outdoors every 20 minutes starting at 7 p.m. Kit Kat will present a special “Pride Menu” from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (full dinner service starts at 5 p.m.), outlined below. Outdoor vendors selling street festival food favorites (Allen Bros. Chicago-style Steak Dogs $6, Chicken Gyros with tzatziki sauce, $6, Parmesan Truffle Fries, $4) will be offered from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Pride Martini Collection (a rainbow of colorful cocktails) will be $10 each.
Pride Parade
Sunday, June 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
This year, Kit Kat will have a super fun, flirtatious float in the Pride Parade. All five resident Divas (Sunny DeeLite, Aurora Sexton, Traci Ross, Madam X and Kathryn Cole) will ride on the Dealavue-sponsored float, along with professional dancers and male models. Kit Kat will have a special “Pride Menu” from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (full dinner service starts at 5 p.m.) and the Pride Martini Collection (a rainbow of colorful cocktails) will be $5 each, as all martinis are half-price on Sunday.

10 spicy curry chicken wings served with a cumin mint yogurt and fries $10

bacon, cream and parmesean-swiss blend cheese sauce $12

french fries tossed with fresh Wisconsin cheese curds and drizzled with beef gravy $10
Fish Tacos
Baja-style tempura white fish served on warm flour tortillas with pico de gallo and fresh avacado, served with cajun rice $13
