Frasca Pizzeria and Wine Bar (Lakeview), Dunlays on the Square (Logan Square) and Dunlays on Clark (Lincoln Park) will add daily brunch service this holiday season. From Sunday, December 26 to Sunday, January 2, the three restaurants will offer brunch everyday from 10am-3pm. A week-long celebration of “National Bloody Mary Day” (Jan 1) will offer guests the opportunity to be among the first to take home a bottle of the newly released, custom-made Smoke Daddy “Smokin’ Mary” bloody mary mix.

During the extended holiday brunches (Dec 26-Jan 2), anyone that orders a bloody mary will be offered a 32 ounce bottle of “foot stompin’ good” Smoke Daddy “Smokin’ Mary” mix for only $2 (regularly retails for $5). The brunch offerings for each restaurant are outlined below.

Each “pizza pupil” will get to select the type of pizza they would like to make: the Margherita or the Pepperoni (ingredients below). Dunlay will share his secrets to Frasca’s famous crispy thin crusts and perfectly prepared toppings. Students will then, of course, get to sample their work, accompanied by two glasses of wine per person.

With a 26.2 mile run facing this year’s Chicago Marathon racers, fueling up is a necessity. Carbs are the perfect choice as they slowly release the energy needed to run from the Loop to Lakeview, down to 35th and back. Frasca Pizzeria and Wine Bar will hold a “Carb Cram” which offers Marathon participants and friends half-price platters of pasta from 3:00pm to 11:00pm the night before the run (must mention offer). Seasonal selections include:

Spaghetti Pomodoro fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil in a light pomodoro sauce $13/$6.50 with offer
Farfalle Prima Vera zucchini, squash, carrots, roasted peppers, basil pesto and white wine tossed with butterfly pasta $14/$7 with offer
