Christmas Eve Brunch at ZED451

ZED451 will hold a Christmas Eve brunch on Saturday December 24. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., an  unlimited bounty of brunch dishes will be offered for $29 per guest, plus tax and gratuity. Bottomless mimosas may be added to brunch for $6 ($35 total).

The midday meal includes such dishes as warm cinnamon rolls, panettone French toast, seasonal fruit, smoked salmon, potato salad, salad with Fuji apples and bleu cheese, artisan cheese and charcuterie, quinoa salad, maple roasted butternut squash, sauteed mushrooms, poached eggs with corned beef hash, maple bourbon-glazed ham, maple Cajun bacon, chicken n’waffles, roasted turkey breast, crab cake benedict, tomato basil fritata, duck confit hash browns, buttermilk herb bottom sirloin, citrus-dusted Atlantic salmon and miniature desserts. Gourmet, house-made bloody marys will be available for $5.

Gather your group and call the restaurant for complimentary shuttle service (perfect for shopping bag-toting diners).

ZED451 is offering brunch only (no dinner service) on Christmas Eve. The restaurant and lounge will be closed on Christmas Day.

Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club welcomes winter with a new set of seasonal martinis, holiday prix fixe dinner and Jingle Bell brunch.

Kit Kat’s team of inspired mixologists have created holiday martinis even the Grinch would like! Available throughout the month of December, martinis such as the Harmoni Merry-tini, Hpnotiq Snowflake, Pumpkin Pie, Banana Nut Bread, Santa Baby and Fruity Xmas will be $13.50 each (Fridays and Saturdays) and half price ($6.25) Sunday through Thursday. The full drink menu is listed below.

Beginning Tuesday, December 20, Kit Kat will kick-off a week-long Christmas celebration with a three-course menu for $30 per person (plus tax and gratuity). The prix fixe is available daily, through Christmas Day, starting at 5:30 p.m. Dinner features a holiday martini of your choice, beef bourguignon with grilled baguette and roasted poussin with cauliflower puree, brussels sprouts and truffle gaufrett. Kit Kat’s “Super Sexy Santa” will be on hand for fun photographs (as well as offering shots) on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

On Sunday, December 25, sit back, relax and enjoy Chef Mark Kasper’s Jingle Bell Brunch. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests may order from the a la carte menu while entertainment is provided by Kit Kat’s Madam X. The holiday meal may be paired with endless mimosas, sangria and bloody martinis for an additional $10 per person.

Dine and donate on Christmas Day: bring a canned good donation and enjoy the three-course Christmas prix-fixe at half price ($15). All the canned goods and nonperishable food items that are collected will be donated to local charity Vital Bridges, in support of their “Harvest for Hope” community food drive. Whole Foods is conveniently located across the street.

Christmas Eve Dining at Park Grill

Twinkling Lights and Twirling Skaters Set the Holiday Scene

The picture-perfect holiday scene will be set this Christmas Eve at Park Grill. The restaurant, surrounded by twinkling lights and twirling skaters in the heart of Millennium Park’s Plaza, will offer two menus on Saturday, December 24. Chef Alex Shalev will present the traditional daytime lunch menu (with specials) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a holiday dinner menu from 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

The exclusive dinner offerings, listed below, include starters (butter poached king crab, crudo of Hawaiian tuna), soups/salads (spiced pumpkin, pear salad), entrees (grilled Amish chicken, braised lamb shank, whole roasted red snapper, sweet potato risotto) and side dishes, as well as suggested wine pairings.
