RB Grille Introduces Weekly Prix Fixe Option

Three courses, $30

RB Grille, the contemporary American restaurant located in the heart of River North, will introduce a weekly prix fixe dinner option beginning Monday, September 6. Every Monday through Friday between 4:00pm and 6:00pm, Executive Chef Christopher McCoy will offer a three course menu for $30. Selections include an appetizer, main course and dessert (listed below).RB Grille offers a variety of libations to complement any meal, such as hand-shaken signature martinis, over 150 wine selections by the glass or bottle (a select list of bottles are half-price on Wednesdays) and award-winning beers from the adjacent Rock Bottom Brewery.

Course One

Lump Crab Fritters
Jumbo lump crab rolled in panko crumbs served with a Creole remoulade

Mini Lamb Chops
Roasted and resting medium rare over our fresh market slawSeared Ahi Tuna
Seared rare and served sashimi-style over Napa slaw

Course Two

Alaskan Halibut
Horseradish-crusted on crisp green beans, Roma tomato and basil, served in a lemon buerre blanc

Bone-In Pork Chop
Slow-roasted pork chop with sage, peach compote and bacon; accompanied by sweet potato fries 

Seafood Capellini
Chef’s daily selection of fresh seafood, butter-poached over capellini pasta with lobster and San Marzano tomato sauce; garnished with goat cheese and garlic crostini

Crusted Filet Medallions
Center cut beef tenderloin crusted three ways with broiled asparagus – horseradish, peppercorn and signature crusted

Course Three

Key Lime Pie
Tart key lime mousse topped with chantilly on a cookie crust

Peanut Butter Cream Pie
Ultra-creamy peanut butter mousse, rich chocolate ganache and crushed peanut butter cups

Mini Cobbler
Seasonal selection served ala mode

The regular dinner menu is also available in addition to the prix fixe. Dinner service is Sunday-Thursday 4:00pm-11:00pm; Friday-Sat 4:00pm-12:00am. Reservations and walk-in dining guests are welcome. Tax and gratuity is not included in the $30 menu.

Great Lakes Brewing Co. Beer Tasting at Fizz Bar and Grill

Fizz Bar and Grill, located in Lakeview, will continue their beer tasting series on Wednesday, September 22 at 8:00pm. The beer exploring event will feature four brews from Ohio’s Great Lakes Brewing Company. Each pour will be paired with bites from Chef Weslie Belini’s new “Beer Nosh” menu (now available every day after 7:00pm). Reservations are not required to attend.

Commodore Perry IPA
A medium-bodied and well hopped India pale ale with a dry, fruity finish.

Eliot Ness Amber Lager

Burning River Pale Ale
An assertively hopped American pale ale with citrusy and piney Cascade hops.
