Cactus Bar and Grill will open their private back room for a speakeasy-themed, prohibition party on Friday, January 20. Fighting the prohibition all day long and well into night (11 a.m. to 2 a.m.), guests will enjoy intoxicating and “illegal” drinks, such as $4 Batch 19 prohibition-style pints and $5 Templeton Rye cocktails. Cactus will feature Templeton and Gingers (Templeton Rye and Ginger Ale) and Midwest Rye Cider (Templeton Rye, maple syrup, lemon juice and apple cider). To further add to the festivities, the Cactus Bar staff will be dressed to the nines in classic roarin’ 20s apparel.
In the true tradition of speakeasies, guests may receive a secret password for a special admittance freebie. The password will be posted to facebook fans (Cactus Bar & Grill) at 11 a.m. on January 20. Those that mention the secret password will be rewarded with a complimentary appetizer from Cactus’s $5 appetizer menu (listed below).
